Migoti Hill, Burundi
Another big hitter from Burundi
Born high above Lake Tanganyika, this coffee comes from the Migoti project in Burundi - a venture built on resilience, determination, and a healthy obsession with good coffee.
Following a 12-year civil war that left many coffee farms abandoned or destroyed, local engineers Dan Brose and Pontien Ntunzwenimana set out to help rebuild their community through coffee. What started with a single washing station on Migoti Hill has grown into a network supporting thousands of smallholder farmers across the region.
Today, Migoti provides farmers with a reliable route to market, practical education, and long-term opportunities, while creating seasonal employment for hundreds of local workers. It's proof that coffee can be more than just a morning ritual - it can help communities thrive.
Lucky for us, it also happens to taste pretty damn good.
