Sitting 2,100 metres up near Worka Town in Gedeb — deep in the legendary Yirgacheffe region — the Chelbesa washing station is right in the thick of where Ethiopia’s finest coffees are born.

Chelbesa spans 1,240 hectares of lush farmland between 1,925 and 2,110 metres. Farms sit so close to the station that no grower’s hauling cherries for more than 40 minutes — meaning everything lands fresh, sweet, and ready to shine. The result? Bold, expressive flavours of blueberry, parma violet, and juicy apricot that hit like sunshine in a cup.
