El Salvador, El Cipres
Grown high on the slopes of the Picacho Volcano, El Cipres has been in the Alvarez family since 1880. These folks know coffee – generations deep. The farm runs from 1,070 to 1,800 masl with 90 hectares under crop and 5 left wild so nature can do its thing. They’ve brought back the old-school agobia method too — bending trees low to keep them producing strong. Big on sustainability, big on community, and always chasing better.
Expect bold hits of raspberry, dark chocolate, and brown sugar, with a little tomato twist and plenty of fruit to keep things lively. Pure Salvadoran craft from a family that lives and breathes coffee.
