This one's a wee bit Ballsy,
Another GOOD project, another banging coffee and another chance to shine a light on a very worthwhile cause.
Profits from this coffee will go to Cahonas Scotland - the testicular cancer charity. This is particularly close to the heart as our co-founder Todd has beaten testicular cancer not once, but twice. Cahonas Scotland aims to spread awareness of self checking (which is key to early detection) and supporting guys like Todd, and so it's important to us to give back when we can. Huge shout and respect to our friend Phil at Cargo who sponsored 50% of this coffee to help us maximise our donations.
As if that wasn't enough, Todd and Sian are running this year's London Marathon to raise money and awareness for Cahonas Scotland. You can donate directly through the QR code on this can, or heck just buy this coffee and get yourself caffeinated at the same time...
Expect flavours of: Milk Chocolate, Caramel, Pecan
This coffee is the result of nearly four decades of persistence, learning, and a deliberate shift toward quality. Edison Ferreira Carson began planting coffee on his family’s land in 1986, rebuilding after the frosts that wiped out the previous generation’s crops. In 2018, Edison made the call that changed everything: less volume, more intention. The result is a Topázio lot that’s clean, comforting, and seriously drinkable.
Expect a smooth, balanced cup with notes of milk chocolate and sweet pastry, shaped by careful post-harvest work led by Edison’s wife, Kerli. Still family-run, with the next generation already stepping in, Sítio Gourita blends traditional know-how with a fresh, future-focused mindset. This is specialty coffee done properly, honest, sustainable, and quietly exceptional.
