Brazil - Sitio Corrego Do Ouro
TASTING NOTES: Imagine a Terry's Chocolate Orange smothered in Nutella and you're getting close. Lovely and balanced, rich with chocolate and a booming base. Immensely satisfying and dangerously addictive.
Paulo José’s choice of becoming a coffee producer was greatly influenced by his father, Mr Jair Alves. He jokes about being part of the coffee world way before his birth, as coffee farming is intrinsic in his family.
The Poco Fundo in Campestre, Sul de Minas region has excellent conditions for growing high-quality coffee.
As well as growing coffee, Paulo also works as a beekeeper. He keeps a few hives placed around the native forest area ensuring a more balanced ecosystem and, consequently, a more favourable environment for the coffee trees.
